If you haven't changed anything and the maintainer hasn't changed
anything, then one might expect to get the _same_ failure every time.

Quoting myself:

'Your issue with re-alpine appears to be that it isn't safe to build
with multiple processors.   See if running "fink configure" and
electing to use one processor solves the problem.'

Did you try that?  re-alpine worked for me when I built it on 10.7
with a single processor selected.
