Then your issue doesn't involve Fink at all.  You never installed
ghemical through Fink.  You've been reporting on a random third-party
ghemical.

If you want ghemical through Fink, do the following

1)  move /usr/local out of the way via

sudo mv /usr/local /usr/local.moved

2)  Use

fink install ghemical

3)  You can then move /usr/local back:

sudo mv /usr/local.moved /usr/local

Though I recommend deleting your /usr/local/bin/ghemical because it's
not working anyway.
