The page http://www.finkproject.org/ has a link to http://www.finkproject.org/srcdist.php but that page is not found.
Perhaps it should point to http://www.finkproject.org/download/srcdist.php which does exist. (That page says the current version is 0.31.0, but it should be 0.31.6.) The page http://www.finkproject.org/download/upgrade.php?phpLang=en mentions "/sw/lib/fink/postinstall.pl" which is not mentioned in srcdist.php. I am trying to use the website to decide if Fink will work for me under Lion. A few months ago, many Fink packages did not build for 10.7, according to the main page, and a list of packages that did not work on 10.7 was promised. The promise is no longer there but I can't find the list. Going to "packages" I can query the ones I know I need. For some packages there is nothing in the rows for 10.7 or 10.6. I am using these packages under 10.6 now. How do I find out if they will work under 10.7? Other packages have a blank row for 10.7 only. Does this mean they will not work for 10.7? Examples of such packages are psutils, tidy, uni2ascii, dosunix, xml-parser-pm5100, crypt-slleay-pm5100. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Keep Your Developer Skills Current with LearnDevNow!
