Usually when I see a problem like this somebody has already posted something to
the list and I just patiently wait. This time I have not seen anything on the
list but it looks like a server issue and
not something at my end.
Doing a selfupdate (rsync) I get:
rsync -az -v rsync://distfiles.master.finkmirrors.net/finkinfo//TIMESTAMP
/sw/fink/TIMESTAMP.tmp

(1) Give up
(2) Retry the same mirror
(3) Retry another mirror from your continent
(4) Retry another mirror

The timestamp of the server is older than what you already have.
