To clarify, current KDE has lots of problems on 10.7.  I've managed to 
make most everything build, but almost nothing actually works properly. 
  There are problems with the dbus and klauncher communications, which 
are critical for KDE apps to communicate with the system (such as 
populating file open/save dialogs).  To anyone reading this, help is 
welcome since I don't understand how dbus functions and that is needed 
to fix this (if it's fixable)
