<snip> I recommend using the mailing lists for this issue rather emailing me directly for a several reasons: 1) The issues that you are having are not with packages that I am responsible for maintaining, 2) Because of 1), I want all discussion to be in public. 3) The mailing lists have more people available to help with issues. The gcc47 maintainer has elected to have the current version use Xcode 4.5 or later.
