FYI, I just verified the scope of the breakage for radr://10466868. If you
consider the failing testcase for gcc.dg/torture/pr53922.c,
it fails to link even when passed '-undefined dynamic_lookup' on Xcode 4.2 of
SL (which unfortunately will never see an update)...
dyld: Symbol not found: _y
Referenced from: /Users/howarth/pr53922_failure/./pr53922.exe
Expected in: flat namespace
in /Users/howarth/pr53922_failure/./pr53922.exe
Trace/BPT trap
whereas the same linkage works fine under Xcode 4.5 and produces a fully
functional executable.
