This may be outside the scope of this list, if so then I apologize in advance. It has been quiet lately so I thought I could ask a brief question.
I am installing a new Mac Mini Server here and want to install mysql. As a dedicated Fink user I looked here first for mysql. But I notice that the Fink version is several steps behind the mysql.com "community" server. My question is: Is the Fink mysql version actively updated and is there a reason that I would choose one over the other? y usage, FYI would be casual, for hosting web sites that use mysql backends such as Joomla, etc. Thanks in advance, Bill W ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ AlienVault Unified Security Management (USM) platform delivers complete security visibility with the essential security capabilities.
