This was the 2nd time in as many months that a similar error occurred
with netpbm, so I knew what to look for this time. If you ever do find
out what installed that ldconfig on your system, make sure you let that
project know that 1) ldconfig is useless on OS X, and 2) putting
anything directly into /sbin is just going to break at some point.
