This happens on Mac OS X 10.6.8 with

Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Fri Nov 8 13:12:25 2013, 10.6,

Trees: local/main stable/main unstable/main
when I try to 'fink update-all':
The package 'gnuplot-minimal' will be built and installed.
Reading build dependency for gnuplot-minimal-4.6.4-2...
Can't resolve dependency "gd2-nox (>= 2.0.35-11)" for package
"gnuplot-minimal-4.6.4-2" (no matching packages/versions found)
Exiting with failure.
I have:
gnuplot 4.6.4-3 Command-driven interactive plotting program
p gnuplot-bin [virtual package]
(i) gnuplot-minimal 4.6.4-2 Command-driven interactive plotting
program
gnuplot 4.6.4-3 is certainly a better upgrade path than gnuplot-minimal 4.6.4-2…
