You didn't indicate what package's failure lead to cause the bootstrap failure, but maybe it was apt. > Thinking that there may have been a cross up with the various downloads > (I received multiple pop up windows asking me whether I wanted to > install XQuartz), It's not mandatory--Fink's X11 detection triggers Apple's download on demand hook. The bootstrap is not set up to allow resuming. I expect that the problem might be due to your mismatched Xcode.app and command-line tools. The bootstrap doesn't check for that because we honestly didn't know that this was a problem--it's quite possible to bootstrap Fink with no Xcode.app. Xcode 5 has change a lot of stuff around under the hood, though. -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison My package updates: http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Put Bad Developers to Shame Dominate Development with Jenkins Continuous Integration Continuously Automate Build, Test & Deployment Start a new project now.
