It logged me on and showed me my contacts (well, contact; I'm just
starting).  But I now need to add the OTR crypto module.

Losing the chance for a pure test of your edit on 10.7 as I try to do
that.  If you think it's worth it for your purposes to try that
anyway, let me know.
