Hello, I am trying out Arora and in the process I stumbled on what appears to be an SSL problem. The first symptom is the following console output upon launch:
AdBlockSubscription:: rulesDownloaded error "SSL handshake failed" Next some but not all pages fail to load over HTTPS. An example of pages that do load is <https://www.google.ca/maps>. Examples of pages that fail to load are <https://signin.ebay.ca> and <https://canadapost.ca>. Looking comparatively at the examples above the pages that do not load use SHA-256 With RSA Encryption, as opposed to SHA-1 With RSA Encryption for the page that does load. However, I then went to my Webmail system <https://turing.ubishops.ca/mail/> and discovered that it loads without any problem even if it uses SHA-256 With RSA Encryption so I am not sure what gives. I am not sure even whether the problem comes from arora or qtwebkit, though the latter looks less likely. I also tried to build arora (manually) against the Fink provided openssl (openssl100-dev-1.0.2a-1 and openssl100-shlibs-1.0.2a-1 rather than system-openssl-dev) but this does not seem to make any difference. Suggestions on how to fix or what other things to try are much appreciated. Many thanks! Best regards, Stefan P.S. In case it matters, my system is a Mac OS 10.10.3 box and features xcode-6.3.1.0.1.1429, xcode.app-6.3.1-1, qtwebkit-x11-2.0.0-40, and qt4-base-x11*-4.7.3-38.
