There seems to be a problem with the latest version of the MacOS legacy Java
1.6.0, as the 2015-1 version only seems to install system-java16, but not the
development headers as shown below:
i system-java16 1.6.0-1 [virtual package
representing Java 1.6.0]
system-java16-dev 1.6.0-1 [virtual package
representing Java 1.6.0 development headers]
I tried to install the 2014-1 as well, but Yosemite does not allow me to do
this as it recognizes that a newer version of java 1.6 is already installed.
What to do now?
