       Support for AVX codes will likely require switching to the unstable
branch of atlas after upstream adapts to the strictness of the clang based
assembler on their usage. However it is problematic to support  AVX opcodes
as that makes the package potentially non-portable between between machines
and thus inappropriate for inclusion in the binary distribution of fink.
