I'm doing a pretty fresh install of octave.
There's a build error at./octave.cps:56: Argument of \\ has an extra }. which I see looks fixed on the debian site as https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=790626 I saw one fink report at https://www.mail-archive.com/fink-users%40lists.sourceforge.net/msg41019.html which is basically it, but not a resolution that I could see. It looks like an upstream fix. Any news suggested workarounds on this is welcome. Thanks to Alexander, Jack et al for all their energy & tireless work . Best wishes, James.
