I'm a finnix newbie and I have been trying unsuccessfully for the last week to remaster finnix 102. What I am trying to do is create a startup script which runs automatically after finnix has completed booting. I have created the following simple script for testing which I saved as myscript.sh: #! /bin/bash echo 'Hello World!' I followed, read and absorbed the instructions on the Remaster Page, Overlay Page & Release Notes. I saved this as myscript.sh, applied chmod +x to the file and saved it in the following locations, none of which have run the script on finnix startup: /finnix/build/master/finnix/arch/indep/rc /finnix/build/master/finnix/arch/x86/rc /finnix/build/master/finnix/indep/rc /finnix/build/master/finnix/x86/rc After each of these changes I ran 'finnix-build-stage2' & created a new ISO which to date has booted into finnix perfectly but does not execute myscript.sh. Please help. I'm at my wits end as I have read everything I can find on this subject and I am still unable to proceed. Thanks. Paul.
