Hello Ryan,
Please would you consider including Stanford's MemtestG80 (links below)
on your next distribution, for testing memory on nVidia GPUs for
hardware and transient memory errors?
MemtestG80 is aimed at those doing general-purpose computing on GPU
using nVidia's CUDA architecture and compiler. The alternative
implementation MemtestCL is targeted at OpenCL users, applicable to
recent graphics cards by all manufacturers.
Testing from Finnix would enable the testing of a maximal range of
graphics memory addresses, since a minimal amount of GPU memory would be
reserved or in use (such memory cannot be tested).
Source code and a makefile are given for both versions (LPGL). Binaries
are given for 32-bit and 64-bit Linux (MemtestG80) and 64-bit Linux only
(MemtestCL).
The size of the MemtestG80 binaries is 1.50MB uncompressed, including
dlls, readme and licence file. (The majority is in two FSF
internationalization libraries.)
