But seriously, I don't think it got very far at all, and wouldn't be useful.
It was intended to be "legacy free", a complete rewrite from scratch. And
since, if you're not in the freebsd.org crowd, Yahoo doesn�t really give a
wet slap about the open-source community, they probably aren't inclined to
release things like the carbon port (which DOES exist) into the wild.

Although the binary at http://homepage.mac.com/brianosaurus may be of
interest.  I forget which of those is the one you want, I think the latter.
