I'm using 0.29.a....so the one in Application Support

I got it working, though....the directory *is* writable to me....but the 
directory "~/Library/Application Support" did not exist.

I created that directory, saved (another) new buddy list, quit and 
restarted Fire, and it works like a charm :).

I guess it must have had a problem when it went to create the 
"Application Support" directory....or it isn't meant to have to do 
that....or something....

Anyway, thanks for your help....
