the hang that has been reported (now by 3 or 4 people) involves the
response *never* coming back from msn that the message was sent
correctly.
Since that code is down in the MSN library that we are using, there
wasn't/isn't much we can do about it.
I have heard rumors that the MSN library we use (libmsn) will soon be
replaced in apps like everybuddy with a fresh from the ground up MSN
library. Boy I hope so. then we can move over to it.
I know that having the app spin forever is annoying (I guarantee it
happens to me more than most while I'm testing), but I don't see an easy
fix at all for this ...
