You need to sign in once with a real version of Yahoo Messenger. For some
reason accounts are not active until you sign on with yahoo's IM client at
least once. There is of of course no OS X version so d/l the classic version
and run it in classic. Just sign in once and you'll be all set to use it in
fire.
