There was an irc connection bug. If you connect to an IRC server that
has no MOTD file, it will return a code 422, this isn't an error and we
can continue the session. It was a one line change, but as the file was
in CVS as a MAC file (it CR's and not LF's) the whole file is considered
one line. I converted it to a unixish file so that CVS can be used to
track changes to the file (otherwise the RCS file backing it in CVS will
just grown out of control).
So, changes to the file format for CVS friendliness and now IRC no
longer beachball hangs Fire when connecting to a server with a "MOTD not
found error".
