Although I have been able to enter a nickname in my ICQ account box, I show
up in my accounts list etc as the account UIN. The preference for Buddies to
appear as aliases only is checked, but doesn't seem to apply to me.
Also, while ICQ and MSN (the two services I use) do now download buddy lists
from the server, it seems that each buddy has to be online at least once to
be noticed - until then they don't even show up in the offline buddies group
- is that correct?
Also it doesn't seem to pick up MSN nicknames from the server - I have
everyone listed by email address.
