All,
I have been very very dangerous in my current cleanup of code. I have
deleted dozens (hundred?) of files, thousands of lines of what appear to
be unused code, consolidated the Service protocol into a service object
and am now using it throughout the source base, etc.
I having a fully working version of Fire and will be checking it into
top of tree. For the rest of *today* I do not suggest that you sync up
top of tree unless you are ready for some major hurt.
I am NOT guaranteeing that I won't screw up your buddy lists.
I am NOT guaranteeing that I won't crash your OS.
I am NOT guaranteeing anything.
This new version appears to build 2-3 times faster, includes many new
features and dozens of bug fixes I found along the way. I will let
everyone know (probably later today) when I think it is good for alpha
usage.
