I think that is because it is trying to look on Colter's web server for 
the version plist.

Unfortunately, the Upgrade portion of Fire is currently looking on 
Colter's web server.  And Colter is gone :-(

The upgrade feature in Fire is now broken until after the next version.

My total apologies, we should have never hosted the file on Colter's 
server, but we did.
