Do what I do with Spanish (Terminal code already updated for German)

 > cp -R ~/Apps/fire/English.lproj/ ~/Apps/fire/GermanUPDATED.lproj

These NIBs be the most up to date and you can begin to transfer over the
translation. Don't try to save previously translated NIBs files unless
you are ABSOLUTELY sure they haven't been changed. Why? Because a lot
have been and bug reports may come for things that should be fixed. Is
this a lot of extra work? Yeah. But it helps in the long run. Once you
get used to it, you can normally update a translation in about 30 minutes.

When you've finished updating,

 > cp -R ~/Apps/fire/GermanUPDATED.lproj ~/Apps/fire/German.lproj

And then when you build fire again you'll be able to run your newly
translated version of Fire.

If you need any other help, send a message to me off list, I'll be glad to
help.

IMPORTANT: don't start updating the translations now. To my knowledge,
there has not been an interface freeze, therefore we (me, you, and anyone
else with a localization [*recalls an Icelandic one a while back*]) should
not begin updating translations until them. Tempting, yes, but honestly
you'll end up doing extra work if you start updating now :(
