Last week I got knock-knock alerts from several people who should
have been (were) on my Buddy List. I added those people back to my
Buddy List, though I wonder who else is missing! No way to tell.
I wonder if this is connected with a few attempts over the last
couple of weeks to delete some people from my Buddy List. I have
tried deleting a certain set of people, one at a time or all at once,
or the group they're in, and next launch of Fire, they're always all
back. Could the wrong buddies be getting deleted from AIM's server
list?
May or may not be relevant that I run fire (0.30.b) on three machines.
This morning, I noticed (though it may have been true last week) that
my status menu is back to the default Available, Away, Invisible, and
Busy. I had a half dozen custom away messages added. They're gone.
Hmm.
Nothing substantial has changed on this machine in weeks. It's a G4
running 10.1.4.
I'll try to do a little more poking when I have a chance, but wanted
to see if this sounded familiar to anyone, or raised any red flags.
