I don't think that would be a good thing, as it would split the
efforts into many different parts and make working toghether more
difficult.
It would also make it more difficult for newbies (like I was one) to
get involved into the development.
So i opt for not opening seperate lists, but for a solution where the
core devs try to answer less to generall use questions and we that
got time do it for them if we can.
Though it might become neccesarry to split the lists in sometimes in
the future I think its not needed right now.
