I have setup a Passport to use with MSN. To check if it appeared that I
was online I created a second account:
- I logged into the 1st account with Fire (31.a).
- Launched MSN 3.0 for Mac OS X and set it up for the 2nd account.
- I attempted to add the 1st account as a friend/buddy in the MSN client.
- I was notified by the MSN client that the 1st account was not using the
MSN client (even asked if I wanted to send email to the 1st account
address and invite them to use the client).
- The MSN client showed the first account as being off-line although I was
connected to the account via Fire.
- I could send a message from MSN to Fire and back with no problems,
however MSN reported that the 1st account was not online.
It appears that a similar problem occurs with MSN and Yahoo. Has anyone
else experienced this? Or verify this?
