@mac.com buddies have screen names like buddies on MSN do. AIM screen name
Example1 has a friend. His friend has the .mac account Example2. Using
iChat, his friend can log on as [EMAIL PROTECTED] to AIM, even though no AIM
screen name is registered. The current versions of AIM and AOL (betas) are
set up to be able to add @mac.com buddies and communicate with them. I
believe iChat is the only program that will let you log on as an @mac.com
user. Only the newest betas of AIM and AOL (both for Windows and Mac users)
are compatible with @mac.com buddies. I don't think it is possible, as it is
set up now, for @mac.com users to ever be able to log in to that account
with fire. What I want to know about is if Fire can add @mac.com users to
buddy lists and chat with them yet.
