http://firebird.1100200.n4.nabble.com/Error-Restoring-v2-1-Database-to-v2-5-td2994314.html
The error is caused when you are running a 2.5 server, but then backup a
database with a 2.1 version of gbak. Then if you try to restore the
database with either a v2.1 or v2.5 version of gbak you get the following
error:
gbak: ERROR:attempt to store duplicate value (visible to active
transactions) in
unique index "RDB$INDEX_39"
gbak:Exiting before completion due to errors
I was able to repo this by creating an empty database from FlameRobin on a
2.5 server and then backing up with a v2.1 gbak. I have attached the backup
file:
http://firebird.1100200.n4.nabble.com/file/n3519372/t1.fbk t1.fbk
Is there any way to restore the backup to a database?
