Changing dialect through DPB does not return a warning ------------------------------------------------------
Key: CORE-4162 URL: http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-4162 Project: Firebird Core Issue Type: Bug Components: API / Client Library, Engine Affects Versions: 3.0 Alpha 1 Environment: Windows 8 64 bit WI-T3.0.0.30566 Firebird 3.0 Alpha 1 (64 bit) Jaybird 2.2.3 on Java 7 Reporter: Mark Rotteveel Priority: Minor Changing the dialect of a database using the dpb item isc_dpb_set_db_sql_dialect should return a warning ("Database dialect being changed from 3 to 1", error 335544802). This works correctly under Firebird 2.5 and earlier, but with Firebird 3.0 alpha 1 the dialect is changed, but no warning is returned to the client. Background: the Jaybird test org.firebirdsql.jdbc.FBDriver.testWarnings() uses this to check processing of warnings by the driver. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get your SQL database under version control now!
