So? If you had been paying attention, you would have noticed that I didn't single key management out as the only factor. Indeed, why bother with the encryption aspect at all? It's simply unnecessary and redundant at this point - which was my fundamental point. If the aim is to avoid needing new DLL etc., then take your DPB idea and make it a boolean "save source" option.
