Hmmm... that might work. I'll take a look. 

But I'm a little wary of making this particular change just before we
go to final release. I've still got a few other changes to the
installer that I need to commit. A missing firebird.msg has been a
known problem for a long time now. I'd hate to introduce a new
installation bug while trying to fix that one.

But automatically deploying firebird.msg with fbclient.dll does seem to
be a good solution.
