/SUPPORTLEGACYCLIENTAUTH not working on 3.0 x64 installer
---------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: CORE-5235
                 URL: http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/CORE-5235
             Project: Firebird Core
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Installation
    Affects Versions: 3.0.0
         Environment: Windows 8.1 x64
            Reporter: F.D.Castel
            Priority: Minor

Running the installer with /SUPPORTLEGACYCLIENTAUTH is not working.

If I run Firebird-3.0.0.32483_2_x64.exe and check the option "Enable
authorization for legacy Firebird clients" it adds the following lines in
firebird.conf

AuthServer = Legacy_Auth, Srp, Win_Sspi
AuthClient = Legacy_Auth, Srp, Win_Sspi
UserManager = Legacy_UserManager, Srp
WireCrypt = enabled

However, if I run the installer passing these arguments:

/SP- /VERYSILENT /NORESTART /NOICONS /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /SUPPORTLEGACYCLIENTAUTH
/COMPONENTS="ServerComponent\SuperServerComponent,ServerComponent,DevAdminComponent,ClientComponent"

/TASKS="UseSuperServerTask,|UseGuardianTask,UseServiceTask,AutoStartTask,|InstallCPLAppletTask,|MenuGroupTask,CopyFbClientToSysTask,CopyFbClientAsGds32Task"

The configuration file is not changed accordingly.

I didn't check on the x86 version of the installer.

BTW: Is that "WireCrypt = enabled" correct? (Should legacy auth be using this?)

Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who
bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM
restrictions. Mobile Device Manager Plus allows you to control only the
apps on BYO-devices by containerizing them, leaving personal data untouched!
