Hi all.. I hope someone here can help me on this matter. I am developing in .Net Visual studio 2005 and have installed Firebas .Net provider for a while ago. Now when im developing a completely differnet application using ms-sqlserver and vs 2005.
The problem i have is with the .NET Firebird provider who give me an error message as soon as i try to make a new dataconnection. The error code i get is: "An unexpecred error occured in the .NET Framwork Data Provider for Firebird. Please contact the provider vendor to resolve this problem." The thing is that im not even using firebird in the dataconnection, im just trying to make anew connection regardles what that connection may use... Worth mention is that i in desperation removed all Firebase related stuff on my computer just to make sure i could get this thing working. Still the same problem exist. Ill hope someone have an answer for what i should do or where i shall turn in this matter.
