Hello
Does your datatable have a primary key?
If I create a table adapter for a table without a
primary key, no update command is generated, but no error is
reported.
I use Visual Studio 2005, Firebird 1.5.3,
Dataprovider 2.0 (stable) and .Net Framework 2.0

Did you have the maching .config file modified as explained
in the
ReadmeDDEX.txt file ??
Yes, I did.
Can you check the Windows Event Log and the
detilas of the error ??

are the details of the error:

Yesterday, I installed ODBC driver for Firebird hoping it would be
working. So now, when I try to define a dataset, only this one is proposed but
the creation failed at the end with this error (translated in English
:)
"Certain
orders of update could not be generated automatically. The base of give turned
over the following error: Dynamic generation SQL of UpdateCommand is not dealt
with for SelectCommand which does not turn over information of key
column"
Well,
if you have any idea why these errors occur, thanks to explain me what is
wrong.
