Hi, I has the second problem. When I used Packageless and put the ConnectionString there, I get "Failure has occurred while loading a type". It's occurred when I clicked OK button, but the Test Connection is successful. How to solve this problem? Here is the connection string (from the example in the firebirdsql.org, just change the database with EMPLOYEE): User=SYSDBA;Password=masterkey;Database=EMPLOYEE.fdb;DataSource=localhost;Port=3050;Dialect=3;Charset=NONE; Connectionlifetime=15;Pooling=true;MinPoolSize=0;MaxPoolSize=50;PacketSize=8192;ServerType=0 I use VS05pro (VS SDK N/A), Firebird 2.0RC5 as superserver. the DDEX n FBClient using 2.0.1.0. The machine.config is in right version n public key token same as gac. I was tried to modify the connection string and use firebird 1.5.1 superserver also, but it raises the same exception.
