Hi Carlos ,
I finally got it to work. Turns out I have to do a 32-bit build only in
VS.NET. Loading 32-bit Firebird DLLs in WinXP x64 does not work. (The server
environment does not run in 64-bit mode so I will not be able to deploy my
project.)
I was a bit disappointed by the Embedded Firebird 2.0 release. It used to be
in the v1.5(I believe) I only needed the FirebirdSql.Data.FirebirdClient.dll to
be distributed with your project. Now we have all the IC*.dll and MSVC*.dll to
distribute as well.
What are those for anyway? Built-in SQL functions?
Thanks,
Vlad

Get the sources, build them using the .NET 2.0 for 64 bits, and retry
