Carlos
Thank you for the response. I have a comment and a question.
1. I recently installed Version 2.1.0 Beta on top of Version 2.0. Then,
I used the packaged uninstaller. This removed the Web Provider and 2.1.0
FirebirdClient from the GAC but, left the 2.0 version. I was unable to
remove using "gacutil -u" and after some searching found this
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/873195
modifying the registry allowed me to remove the 2.0 version from GAC

2. In one of our applications, we use FbCommand extensively without
explicitly starting a transaction - we then dispose off the FbCommand.
After a while, the number connections on the server starts to grow
indicating that many connections are not being closed (the connections
eventually close when the application is shut down). Is this an issue
that was fixed for this version? (Changes on Dispose implementations of
FbDataReader, FbCommand and FbConnection classes)
