-> I'm try to do the backup with GBak and i obtain an error say:
"ERRROR: unavailable database file"
i'm using gbak.exe in the same directory i have the firebird db,
called "general.fdb"

-> I try the code you post and now i dont obtain any error, simply dont
make the backupthe funcion execute perfectly and without errors.
In other hand, i download and use FlameRobin and with the same database
and the same computer it make the backup perfectly!!!
For more info i'm using Firebird Net Provider 2.0, Firebird Classic
Server 2.0, Visual Studio 2005 Pro and Windows Vista Home Premium.
I think the fail can be because Windows Vista user permissions but when
i see that with Flame Robin in the same computer and the same user can
make the backup i be lost......
