Hi
Using Fb 1.5, 2.1 , VS 2005, 2008, IbExpert.
I'm deploying updates for my applications as installer for exe's and patches
for database.
The installer contains and deploy the same 'old'
FirebirdSql.Data.FirebirdClient.dll 682 KB (698,880 bytes) in same
directory as my exe's.
Every thing was fine until I installed last version of FB.Net Provider on my
production machine.
When I run upgrade program, to execute update script(patch) to database I
get now error message:
{"Method not found: 'System.Collections.Specialized.StringCollection
FirebirdSql.Data.Isql.FbBatchExecution.get_SqlStatements()'."}
On my test machine I don't get this error.
I have investigate ...and i found that , on my production machine i have in
GAC the last version of FB.Net Provider (578 KB (592,384 bytes)).
If I replace this dll with the old one or I delete works ok.
For me is ok, I could manage this....but the end users?
I don't understand why the application use dll from gac and not the one
provided in same dir as application !?
Best regards,
Paul
