When I try to read character fields which contain german umlaute (äöüß) with
the ADO.net Provider 2.5 (I tried it for .net 2.0 and .net 3.5) I only receive
a Quadrat instead of a Ö and so on.
The Database was created on Firebird 1.55 with UNICODE_FSS Charset and I tried
a lot of Charsets in the Connection String of the ADO.NET Provider.
My Workaround is to use the 2.5 .net provider for listening to Events (which I
need to do) and the make the SELECT on the tables with ODBC 1.2. 1.2 because
the ODBC Driver 2.0 RC1 doesn't work as well...
