Install Firebird Cliente 2.1 and 2.5.2 on same machine

Hello
Im tryng to update my server to use the new version 2.5.2 of the firebird
client, but when i go to install he need that older version must uninstall, but
in older versions that not happen,
the problem is all my application in the server are directed to version 2.1.0
and if i uninstall them will be a realy big problem that need to pass al
project to correct in web config to 2.5.2
can i install the 2 versions in the same machine ??
