FB net provider v 2.5.0.0
FB server v 2.1.1.1790
I am wondering about pooling. I have WPF and Windows based .Net
applications that are run on Windows networks. Generally there are less than
30 users accessing the FB database via the programs at any one time. I
have had pooling = true, min pool = 10, max pool = 100. I changed to min
pool = 1 and max pool = 10 and don't really notice any difference.
Are there any generalized guidelines for these values and do I need pooling
at all? I don't know if the database server is affected by having 300
connections open (30 users * min pool of 10), but it seems to have little
effect. I would just rather have it set "properly" if that concept exists.
Regards,
Rick
