If I got it right - this should be a runtime setting for the pagecache of the current connection (at least on fb classic; ignored by the superserver).

PS The reason I ask - I started monitoring a project of mine in terms of server-side memory usage. I recently switched to firebird classic (you can`t imagine how much ram-leaks I fixed (wasntme) ...). A few of the workstations do "big stuff" and need big page caches, but most of them don`t.
