Hi, I would like to know if there is a proper way to check if a given database exists with the Firebird .Net provider.
Currently, I try to open a connection to the database, and if this fails by throwing an exception, I assume that this is because the database does not exist. But that's not a solution I feel comfortable with, because there might be other reason for the exceptions to be thrown. So, is there a better way to do it?
