I can assure: my computer clock was ok!
Installer: NETProvider-2.6.0.msi, downloaded from Firebird downlod site.
I have also NETProvider-2.5.2.msi, the FirebirdSql.Data.FirebirdClient.dll
installed is ok for including in the GAC.
This is a requered step to use DDEX Provider for Visual Studio.
