I am using latest ADO.net client (2.7.0.0) and DDEX 2.0.5. I was only able to
add firebird client to GAC using .net 4 version of gacutil. I then added the
registry entries and placed the embedded files in the Common 7 directory for
VS2008 (as per Rick). When I try to type anything into the 'Add connection' it
crashes. I tried with both VS2008 SP1 and VS2010
I also have the following:
Windows 7 64bit
.net 3.5, 4.0
Windows SDK for Windows (7.1)
VS2008 SDK
